Day two and Three: Spikes Asia

I have to be honest, I am reporting on day two and three together not because of the lack of content but because of the true Mad Men style after parties we have been having each evening. Writing with a hangover is not my forte.
So day two had a few really nice talks. Including a in depth talk by Omnicom Group titled Get real! Experience VR in action, and a very inspirational talk Exposing the Naked Portfolio by Wayne Arnold from MullenLowe Proferio. Wayne Arnold talks about a project he is working on where they do video interviews with some of the brightest minds in advertising. They then ask them a set list of questions, such as “What would you say is the best campaigns in the world?”, “What attributes do the best creative minds have?” They then use this information and analyse it. Wayne’s ultimate objective would be to raise the creative bar across the globe by allowing young creatives to get access to these tips and truths in advertising.
Unfortunately, I was a bit late for day three but managed to catch a few talks right at the end of the day. The festival ended with a great talk by Graham Fink, Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy and Mather China. Graham made some very interesting observations by looking at histories most creative people, such as David Bowie.
I must say doing a written review of the talks really help cement the talks firmly in my mind. All in all a great festival, I will certainly be back next year.
