Challenge:
We where tasked with the launch of the new TRD range of Toyota vehicles. Our biggest challenge was that no one knew what Toyota TRD is or what it stands for.


Idea:

Through research we concluded that the TRD driver is someone that likes to stand out, and express their individuality. We also knew that we wanted to create an exclusive club for these people belong to.

 

Solution: 

Vampire cars! Yes, vampire cars, was our inspiration for the commercial. The commercial starts with a deserted city, suddenly you see a Toyota TRD waking up from it’s slumber – The car slowly pulls away into the darkness.

As the commercial continues you see more and more Toyota TRD’s coming to live. Eventually all the cars come together at a secret racoon an empty parking lot.

Eventually when the sun comes up all the cars drive off and go back to the same place, as if nothing happened.
