Our challenge was to change the perception of the Yaris amongst our young target audience, transforming it from being seen as ‘basic’ to a vehicle that is cool, stylish and worth talking about.
To ignite social conversations within our target audiences, we took the car outside the showroom and placed it in popular and youthful hangouts. By fitting hidden cameras and sensors around the Yaris, we brought it to life as it spoke and tweeted, giving it a voice in the physical and Social Media world.
The campaign was a resounding success with an additional 15,427 new fans on Facebook and test drive requests exceeding expectations by 317%.
